El depósito de compensación es un acumulador que se instala en el ramal de alimentación de lodos de la tubería del filtro prensa.
Tiene la finalidad de uniformar la presión realizando la función de pulmón de acumulación.
También cumple una función muy importante de amortiguación de los golpes producidos por el bombeo de lodos en el interior de las cámaras filtrantes del filtro prensa.
De esta forma se facilita la lectura de los instrumentos (manómetro y transductor de presión – o presostato) ya que el valor está estandarizado con precisión por el propio tampón de compensación.
Alternativamente, puede instalarse no en la rama de alimentación del filtro prensa sino en la salida de la bomba de alimentación.
Siempre que sea posible, es mejor instalarlo en el filtro prensa ya que está más cerca del punto real en el que nos interesa conocer el valor de presión de los lodos.
The compensation bag is an accumulator which is installed in the sludge supply branch of the filter press piping.
Its purpose is to equalize the pressure by carrying out the function of an accumulation lung.
It also performs a very important function of damping the blows caused by the pumping of the sludge inside the filtering chambers of the filter press.
In this way, the reading of the instruments (pressure gauge and pressure transducer – or pressure switch) is made easier as the value is uniformed by the compensation bag itself.
Alternatively, it can be installed not in the supply branch of the filter press but in the delivery of the feeding pump.
When possible, it is better to install it on the filter press as it is closer to the real point where we are interested in knowing the pressure value of the sludge.
