Il sistema di apertura “a pacco multiplo” è una evoluzione del sistema di tipo simutaneo.
Quando infatti le piastre filtranti installate nel filtropressa superano le 35-40 unità, non è più possibile aprire tutte le piastre simultaneamente per motivi di carattere costruttivo (sarebbe necessario un cilindro idraulico con corsa utile troppo elevata).
Per questo motivo, per ovviare a questo problema, si suddividono le piastre filtranti in più sezioni (detti “pacchi”) che si aprono in sequenza. All’interno di ognuno di questi pacchi, l’apertura delle piastre è del tipo simultaneo. Quando è terminata l’apertura di una sezione si procede con l’apertura della sezione adiacente.
Il cilindro idraulico principale è responsabile dell’apertura del primo pacco (oltre che della chiusura in pressione di tutte le piastre filtranti); successivamente sono previsti altri attuatori secondari che devono solamente aprire i pacchi intermedi.
Soluzione che è indicata per fanghi che filtrano facilmente e per alte produttività (dove quindi sono richieste numerose piastre installate ed allo stesso tempo bassi tempi ciclo).
The “multipack” opening system is an evolution of the simutaneous type system.
In fact, when the filter plates installed in the filter press exceed 35-40 units, it is no longer possible to open all the plates simultaneously due to construction reasons (a hydraulic cylinder with too long stroke would be necessary).
For this reason, to overcome this problem, the filter plates are divided into several sections (called “packs”) which open in sequence. Inside each of these packs, the opening of the plates is of the simultaneous type. When the opening of a section is finished, the machine proceed with the opening of the adjacent section.
The main hydraulic cylinder is responsible for opening the first pack (as well as for closing all the filter plates under pressure); subsequently other secondary actuators are installed only have to open the intermediate packs.
Solution that is suitable for sludges that filter easily and for high productivity (where numerous plates installed and at the same time low cycle times are required).
